I tried a System Restore, but the same problem occurred (went back in time to yesterday when none of these problems were occurring). #Cant get adobe reader to install windows xp sp3 proAlso, i noticed that Trend Micro Internet Security Pro said it is awaiting activation, which we activated it as soon as we got this computer, and that the Firewall was deactivated. Hmm, so i logged back into my user (logged off my dad's account then onto mine) and the same thing occurred! Except no personalized settings, the theme took a while to load and whilst it was loading it showed the Windows Classic theme. I tried to start up Internet Explorer but to no avail, IE didn't want to start either. We left this for another five minutes and still acquiring the network address. I then looked at my system tray and noticed that the two LAN computers are still acquiring their network address'. But uh-oh (again.), it came up and this time saying that the report could not be sent. He said a little "thanks" and went to get onto Firefox, but uh-oh, the Crash Reporter from Mozilla said that Firefox had crashed! Quit Firefox or Restart, i chose restart and the same error dialog appeared and this time i decided to send it to Mozilla so they could investigate the problem and restarted Firefox. After that waiting period, i cancelled the process (UfSeAgnt.exe) and instantly the icons and taskbar of the desktop had loaded. When he logged onto his user, a little "Personalized Settings" dialog appeared in the top left corner which said "Customizing Internet Explorer Settings" (or something similar) and never went away (we waited for five minutes). ![]() #Cant get adobe reader to install windows xp sp3 codeDuring then and now i installed: Download Accelerator Plus, Speedbit Video Accelerator, Code of Honor 2: Conspiracy Island, Daemon Tools Pro Advanced Evaluation.Īfter that, my father wanted to get on, so i closed Firefox and logged off. I noticed this after updating Windows (through Windows Update) just a couple of hours ago. ![]() ![]() Well, this is a new computer (under one month old) and it's already screwing up! When you click a user to log-on with from the Welcome Screen it takes about 1 minute to show the desktop (and the desktop only, no task-bar, icons, etc.), it used to be bang (on the spot, loaded right away). ![]()
